The selected 2 young people (30 years or under) will be able to attend the "Young Leaders" event of the Urban Future Forum from June 4 to 7 in Rotterdam.

The "Young Leaders" programme is directed at young talent that want to develop innovative and sustainable projects with a positive impact on the city.

 

The Young Leaders San Sebastian programme promoted by Fomento San Sebastian, in collaboration with Urban Future, aims to identify talented young people from San Sebastian, who suggest innovative and sustainable ideas to transform the city.

Interested applicants should address a challenge related to climate change adaptation, the construction of sustainable cities or the development of social aspects in transformation processes and suggest solutions that have a positive impact on the city and improve the well-being of its inhabitants.

In addition, the two selected young people will participate, all expenses paid, in the Young Leaders Programme of the Urban Future congress that will take place from June 4 to 7 in Rotterdam. A European meeting that brings together more than 2,000 attendees every year and revolves around one question: how can we improve our cities?

The requirements to participate are:

  • Be under 30 years of age.
  • To have undertaken, or to be studying a degree in university or an Advanced Vocational qualification.
  • Connected to the city: to be born, to have studied or registered in San Sebastian.
  • C1 English level.

All the information about the programme is available on www.fomentosansebastian.eus. The deadline to submit the applications is 19th April. The programme also includes full support of Fomento San Sebastián in the development of the idea, individualized guidance, access to the programme “Talent Residencies", as well as the opportunity to participate in training and acceleration programmes run by Fomento de San Sebastián.

With this initiative, Fomento San Sebastián aims to support the professional and personal development of local young people with entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the city.
